It's not too early to begin thinking about 2022 and the blessings a new year holds. Each church is required to hold a charge conference / annual meeting in fall to prepare for the new year. This annual meeting is where pastor salaries are set, church leaders are elected, membership rosters are reviewed, m
inistry reports are reviewed, and plans are made for ministry in the new year. These meetings are to be held before our District Charge Conferences, when the work of the church will be consecrated by the District Superintendent.
This year, Rev. Alston has chosen the theme, "Blessed to Be a Blessing", based on the scripture from Luke 12:48 -"...For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required." . Join others from each of the 3 regions to celebrate current ministries and pray for future ministries. We have been blessed - let us celebrate those blessings together and plan to be a blessing to many in the new year.
